Notes and News
Board of Directors meeting

Tuesday, June 10th at 6:30 PM in the Blue Lake office building. Meetings are currently scheduled for the second Tuesday of every month.
WEEDS AND GRASS
With this spring’s weather of snow, wind, rain, wind, wind and more snow, it seems that the weeds got away from all of us. The common areas have been sprayed once, and will be 2 more times during the growing season. Please do your best to control the weeds in your lot (vacant or not.) The board also asks that everyone keep the weeds out of the cracks in the sidewalk s adjacent to your lot. It makes a big difference on the appearance of our neighborhood. Thank you!

VANDALS AND HOOLIGANS
If you witness questionable activity in any area of Blue Lake, please call the Eagle County Sheriff’s Department at 479-2201 (non-emergency) or 911. You can remain anonymous.

DITCH RULES
Did you know that it is a federal offence to put anything in the ditches? Debris can cause back-ups and flooding. Keep kids from throwing rocks or sticks into ditches. No yard clipping, leaves, etc. may be put into ditches. Please notify the Blue Lake office or the sheriff’s department immediately if you see a violation of this law happening. Our crew spends many hours maintaining the ditches every year. Please respect their efforts! The crawl space or basement that isn’t flooded might be yours.
GARBAGE AND BEARS
Please put your trash out on Monday morning; not Sunday night! If mister bear gets into your trash this week, he might go for your kitchen next week.

OFFICE HOURS
Due to family medical circumstances Gina’s hours in the office will be sporadic for the next couple of months. Please call the office and leave a message. Someone will get back to you within the week. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

NEW POLICIES
The board adopted new policies required by state senate bills 89 and 100. Copies are available in the office or on the website.
