Blue Lake is one of those hidden gems located in the middle of the Roaring Fork Valley of Western Colorado.  First developed in the mid 1980s and expanded in the mid 1990s, it is home to families who work and play in and around Aspen and want a safe and comfortable place to raise their families.  The Basalt public schools are some of the best in the state.  Home prices range greatly here, and hold their values due to the overall appeal of the neighborhood.

Residents enjoy 140+ acres of common space including a private lake, parks, and several miles of paved trails.  Mature trees and landscaping abound.  We are within walking distance to the vitality of El Jebel and Willits Market Place restaurants, shopping, movie theatres, and grocery stores.

Our covenants are enforced to keep the focus on the beauty of the surrounding mountains.  We have storage facilities available to homeowners for RV's, boats, etc. The association is financially sound and has a dedicated volunteer board of directors.  Of the 350 home sites there are currently seven vacant lots and several homes for sale.

Even through the rough economic times our association has maintained a healthy grip on collections.  Currently less than 2% of owners are 90 days delinquent.
